Hello and welcome to HCM,
Meprate tablet is a synthetic progesterone and is used to induce periods in case periods are delayed or in secondary amenorrhea.
The treatment is apt for your condition, however, onset of periods is when you stop the drug.
This bleeding is called withdrawal bleeding.
So, consult your referring doctor regarding the course of the drug and when to stop is.
In case the delay in periods is regular, you will need to take the drug for last 10 days of your cycle to have withdrawal periods at the end of each cycle.
However, the drug has to be taken under medical supervision.

Thanks and take care
