Hello and welcome to HCM,
The widal test is done to detect the presence of antibodies against Salmonella bacteria.
The antibodies which are detected are against A antigen and O antigen.
The value of the antibody titres is determined by the manufacturer of the kits.
It is evident that the antibody titres of 1:80 or above is diagnosis of typhoid is confirmed.

You need to consult your treating doctor for prescription of antibiotics.

Thanks and take care
