How To Lighten Lip Colour?

My lips are very dark. How can I get a pink lips.? I have consulted a doctors and he has prescribed me glowmax. Will this work out? Or do u have any other suggestion? My doctor told me that my lips are been dark due to thyroid or diabetic, am getting married in next 2months, am very much worried about my lips? How can I get pink lips? It old be really great if u can help me with this?

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
pigmentation of lips can be genetic as well as acquired.
since you already using glomax lip gel, i would suggest you to continue using it as it contains niacinamide which helps in counteracting pigmentation.
apart from the gel, certain things you should keep in mind are:
.use lip balm containing sunscreen before goin out. also it prevents dry and chapped lips. and mosturise them.
. always remove you lipstick before going to bed with cleanser as cosmetics can aggravate pigmentation. also prefer lipsticks contating vitamin e.
. eat plenty of green vegetables, fruits containig vitamin and lots of water.
these are few measures you can take apart from applying topical.
