How To Make My Mother Eat After Chemotherapy?

my mother is colon cancer patient. surgery has done in Jan 2012. caner was advance stage IV. 4 chemo has already been done. now she is not eating properly, feeling smell in all foods. ( we had given dacotion 150MG, pyricontain, ) . seeking advice, how she can start eating.

hello dear. I appreciate your concern. i will try to make you understand. During chemotherapy the side effects of drugs and the cancer itself does not allow a normal appetite and taste. Appetite usually returns during chemo free period. We usually advise some form of appetizers to our patients for stimulating the appetite. You can also try some alternative forms of medicines to improve the appetite however only after consulting a physician. Give her whatever she wants to eat but it should be hygienic and properly cooked. Hope you understand now.
