My mother in law got diabetes and blood sugar report was showing 300. Someone told that if she takes insulin injections she has to continue for life. Somebody know about this? Pls help.
Hi Rajat, diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life. The cause of diabetes continues to be a mystery, although both genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise appear to play roles.Patient with diabetes like your motherinlaw will need insulin injection regularly.
Diabetes mellitus is of two types-insulindependant and non-insulin-dependant.
Try ayurveda. You can avoid side effects and even diabetic complications.
Take medicines like vasanthakusumakara rasa, chandraprabha vati with jambavasa.
Undergo therapies like virechana,lekhana basti.
Take lot of neem,bitter gourd,fenugreek.
Drink plenty of warm water.
Do simple physical exercises and walking.
Yes, Insulin is given when the medicines fail to bring the sugar level back. This is because my grandfather was initially put on the medicines and later when he got the heart attack he was shifted on Insulin. after discharge he is continued on Insulin. I guess what you heard is right.
