Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for asking from HCM

Feelings of worthlessness, severe rejection sensitivity (feeling that everyone hates you), low mood, insecurity about your boyfriend etc all symptoms point to the diagnosis of depressive disorder. Poor understanding in relationship might be the reason for such symptoms. You also have thoughts of killing yourself. This should not be ignored.

Severe depression usually have thoughts of suicide. I would advise you to talk to your boyfriend about the issues. Try to sort the problems. Consult a relationship counsellor for expert management. If problem still persist then visit a Psychiatrist.

Medicines like SSRIs and some time other drugs like Mirtazepine, Amisulpiride etc are used in severe depression. Apart from that other drugs like benzodiazepine can be used to decrease the symptoms of anxiety associated with depression.

Thanks
