How To Overcome Drug Addiction?

I believe my 30 yr old daughter have a mental break frpm the use of heroin, morphine, and god knows what else she was using. My question is what meds are the best stabilizers for her at this time and how long before I will see some results. She is in a therapeutic setting on seroquel, zoloft, and trazadol

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
What your daughter requires is to undergo a process of de-addiction under constant medical supervision.
She needs to be incorporated with behavioural therapy, mental stability exercises along with certain timely medications and follow-up to bring her back to normal state. The process could take a little longer and hence you need to be patient till you get desired results. Be positive and supportive throughout the process.
Kindly consult Psychiatrist in a de-addiction centre for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
