How To Overcome Minimal PTB As Noticed In Chest X-ray?

Hi. Last month i had a minimal ptb on my chest xray result. I was advised to have a sputum test for thrree consecutive days but the result was negative. I am afraid to have the medication financially since i am a student. I dont feel any symptoms of having a ptb. I believe i only have an allergy on my lungs. Help me doctors. Thanks a lot.

Hello
Since you diagnosed as a pulmonary tuberculosis case by doctors so believe that you are a patient .
2nd point is that your sputum is negative for A F B for 3 consecutive specimens , this is no unusual .
Since you are a student I want to tell you that anti tubercular treatment is available FREE OF COST IN INDIA ( if you are an Indian , need not to worry ).
For confirmation of PTB consult one more doctor and X ray clearly shows infiltration in upper lobe so your doctors are right .
Take complete treatment at least for 6-9 months advised by your doctor.
As far as about allergy your doctor will advise you , so consult one more doctor and get his opinion.
Hope this will help you.
