How To Overcome Sleeping Problem?

I am 54 yrs male having sleep problems... did not sleep for 8 nights in a row... my doctor has put me on tab Restyl 0.5 mg and I could sleep for last 3 days.. my question is am not going to be dependent on Restyl forever... pls highlight me how can I overcome sleeping problem?

I have read your query thouroughly.

You have been prescribed restyl 0.5mg for your sleep problem.

I would suggest you to take tablet zolpidem 5mg preferably over restyl. This drug has lower risk of dependence.

Other than this, you can practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.

Also, avoid day time naps, dont consume tea or coffee or alcohol at bed time. Dont listen to heavy music at bed time and avoid heavy exercises in night.
