How To Overcome The Side-effects Of Finax And Is Androanagen Safe?
hi, i am 26 year old. I have been taking treatment from a dermatologist. she prescribed me multivitamins, mintop and finax. I started taking finax 1 mg daily, I took it for 3 days and started experiencing the sever sexual side effects. I spoke to my doctor again and she told me to stop that for a week. then she told me to start taking androanagen tab twice daily with multivitamin and mintop application.
I want to ask whether androanagen tab is safe to take or not? And also I was affected by only 3 dose of finax. what shoud I do I still sometime feel difficult to get an erection. how to get back to normal. really worried???? its been a week I didnt touch it. Is there any way I can flush finax from my body and undo the side effects??

Finasteride is an oral antiandrogen, approved by US FDA for androgenetic alopecia. It can have minor/transient and reversible side effects like decreased libido/sexual drive in just 1-2% of people who take it. This is a transient side effect and mostly subsides on continued treatment and on repeated counselling by the doctor.
Finasteride has a short half life of 4.7 to 7.1 hrs and is eliminated from the body rapidly. Therefore no need to flush it out
Androanagen contains saw palmetto extract, which also works similar to finasteride i.e by inhibiting 5 alpha reductase. However it is claimed to be devoid of sexual side effects of finasteride.
