General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Thank you for writing us here.
Well, its something to be concerned about his health and also you should try talking to him. The complications of tobacco is really dangerous. The patients I've seen died who were heavy smokers and tobacco chewers in front of me.
Please talk to him and go for an alternative of tobacco like nicotine chewing gum or implant. He would have similar feeling but no side effects.
Take him to a doctor okay? Let the doctor put an implant of nicotine for few days and he would have less carving for tobacco and eventually it would reduce the consumption drastically.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
