How To Permanently Cure Itchy Area In Between The Scrotum And Thigh?

Hello, I have a very itchy area between the scrotum and inner thigh, also between the toes. This has been going on for a few months, and from what I ve been reading, it may be some sort of jock itch/athletes foot (fungus). Hydrocortisone cream only provides temporary relief.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your description, it seems that you may be having a fungal infection of the groin and web spaces of the toes. (Jock itch and athlete's foot as you have rightly mentioned).
Please do not use hydrocortisone cream. It is a steroid which will temporarily relieve itching but promote the growth of fungus.
Use a cream containing 1% Clotrimazole or 2% Ketoconazole twice a day after bath and at bedtime for 3 weeks.
You could also take 150 mg fluconazole tablet once a week for 4 weeks.
Keep the areas as dry as possible as moisture promotes fungal growth.
You could also take an antihistamine like benadryl at bed time for 10 days.
Avoid scratching or rubbing the groin as this can lead to eczematisation.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
