How To Prevent And Cure Yeast Infection?

Hi yes my name is Brianna. So i jus had a yeast infection and after 3days of using Monostat i fet better. I still had a little itching so i continued to use the cream... Today, i went to go wash up and i started burning and all of a sudden, my vagina turned red...Now it burns when i touch it and especially when i go to urinate. Could I have goten a reaction from the soap or could I have something different? Please help.
