Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 30 years old and my husband is 33. We are just married and he is been smoking since he was 16 and he still smoke but he eats really well and does lots of activity but he never had any headache fever or common cold and never been to doctor and I am really worried about him? His dad passed away recently from cancer ang finger cross but I am really worried about him so please tell me what is the best thing for him to prevent from cancer ???
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. As far as the cancer in a patient is concerned, it takes more than a year for a cancer to occur from a precancerous lesion. It means there will be formation of some red or white lesions prior to cancer formation. So nothing to be panic, you need to quit the habit of smoking and you need to consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
