How To Prevent Pregnancy?

Im on birth control pill(Jazmin) but I dont take it at the exact same time everyday (I even forgot to take one or two during the second week). However I got my period on Thursday (as usual) and still have it. Last night I had unprotected sex and I should start a new package of birth control tomorrow. Should I take Plan B today just to make sure I wont get pregnant?

Hi,
Since you have had a period after the course of pills, you are safe. You need not take any emergency contraception now as you are unlikely to ovulate so soon. You can continue with your usual oral contraceptive course as scheduled. Please remember that you cannot consider yourself protected if you miss two pills in a row, especially during the second week of pill intake. You need additional protection in such cycles. Emergency pills should be restricted to one or two occasions per year. Hope this helps.
