How To Prevent Scarring On Face?

Thought I was reaching for pump soap to wash my face. Turned out to be nair. washed immediately several times. Have what looks like carpet burn scabs on both cheek bones. Happened 1 1/2 day ago. Just tingles now. On vacation so not near in-plan doctor. What to do to prevent scaring?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to dermatitis due to the contact with the Nair. I recommend using a mild cortisone cream to prevent the inflammation. I also suggest using aloe vera gel which help in soothing the skin and avoid scarring.
