How To Put On Body Weight?

Hi doc, I m quite a fit guy with BMI index of 20 , H: 5 6 and W: 55. But I look little thin and small when I m in a group of people. So people started suggesting me to take additional supplements like endura-mass or protein x or some whey powders. I also like to grow my mass and look good but not in this way. I eat a lot of veggies and fruits and I m a vegetarian. Please suggest me some way to grow mass. Thankyou

Hi,

You need to run some basic tests like TSH and other like complete blood count, RBS and other tests of malabsorption if you are eating well and still not gaining weight.

If all these causes are excluded, we advise our patient to increase protein intake which may be from animal or plant source and usually avoid medications as these have lots of side effects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
