Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome here.
The sudden withdrawl from alcohol after heavy drinking can cause life threatening symptoms.
The drug treatment for alcohol withdrawal includes drugs like librium or valium. Some doctors also prescribe thiamine tablets alongwith this.
I would suggest you to visit a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and treatment. Donot take any of the drugs on your own as these are prescription drugs.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks.

Dr. Shubham Mehta.
