How To Quit Smoking?

I need so desperately to quit smoking I have tried so many times but keep going back to it please help me ....I m 54 years old I have a beautiful 23 year old son I want to be there for him his Dad my husband passed away 4 years ago I m all that child has ...yet I still keep smoking please help me

Thanks for sharing your concern.

If you have already tried non pharmacological measures to reduce smoking, and they have been ineffective, then the two good options for you would include either varenicline or bupropion. Both these drugs are very effective in reducing the craving for smoking. Usually people take twelve weeks of therapy and report quitting.

Hope your doctor is able to guide wyou with these as these are prescription medicines.
