How To Recognize Implantation Bleeding?

I had endometriosis n got operated last year December. Trying to conceive for four months. Always have 28 to 29 days cycle. This month suddenly missed periods and delayed for 6 days. But yesterday got bleeding. It is little different than periods and lasted only for two days. Can it be implantation bleeding ? Blood was in strechy clots. If its implantation bleeding how will I get confirmation of conceiving

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Bleeding 6 days late may be implantation bleeding or any other gynecological problem among which are hormonal imbalances and infections.I will suggest you run a pregnancy test to confirm or exclude pregnancy. If the test come positive, fine, just stay and prepare to start ANC when due.If negative, just observe for other gynecological signs like pelvic pains, funny vaginal discharges or more bleeding and see your Gynecologist for evaluation. In this case, a pelvic ultrasound will be very helpful.
Hope this will help
