General & Family Physician 's  Response
This kind of pain occurs due to using soft matress commonly as it increases during sleep. If you are using a soft matress kindly replace it with tuff one. It can be due to postural disturbances while sleeping. You have not mentioned the region of pain. These pain may be due to a lot of bony problems. It may also be due to bony degeneration which will responce by calcium use. Application of analgesic gel topically with hot compression may reduce pain with much less side effects than oral analgesics. If the pain does not subside you may have to check vertibral arrangements and bone density.
