General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
Incomplete data: detailed results of liver function tests, gender, any history of alcohol intake or smoking?
Isolated raised liver enzyme (SGPT) is suggestive of some sort of liver problem like infection, inflammation, fatty liver or due to alcohol consumption.
Assuming that the other liver function tests being normal, the raised SGPT level can be reduced by certain lifestyle changes like
1. Avoiding smoking and alcohol
2. Avoiding fatty meals, fast & junk foods
3. Eating home cooked foods, increasing the intake of fruits and vegetables
4. Increasing the intake of oral fluids or juices
5. Reducing the body weight if you are over weight.

Hope these measures could be helpful in reducing the high level of SGPT.
