How To Reduce Body Weight While Suffering From Hypothyroidism?
I have hypothyroidism and am being treated. All of my blood tests come back ok but I am still tired and cannot lose weight. I was on 2 times as many stimulants then should have been prescribed and I still gained weight. I have a new Dr. now but still no changes. I do not know what else to do except try another Dr. What would you recommend?
Hi, The details regarding what stimulants are you on is missing gin the description. Hypothyroidism usually causes weight gain. Optimal replacement of thyroid hormone reverses the weight gain in much of the patients. Apart from that regular physical activity will help in reducing the weight. The details regarding the thyroid hormone status is also missing in description. I would recommend you to consult an endocrinologist for appropriate management of your hypothyroidism. I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day.
