How To Reduce Constant Back Pain In Lumbar Region?

I have constant back pain in the lumbar region I was told its arthritis I have 2 bulging discs, I had an MRI. I had recent x rays of the lumbar region. Besides pain pills and stretching what else can I do for this problem.? I am a 70 yr old female average height and weight

I really appreciate your concern, some exercise are there for disk degenerative disease, like lifting the leg little up at the supine position, keep the hand behind the backside while sleeping in supine position and then pushing the hand with abdomen force, in my opinion better to see the physiotherapist, hope this information helps, take care, and have a nice day.
