How To Reduce Fever In A Kid Naturally?

hi, i have a g6pd one year old baby, he has no cold or cough, he s taking paracetamol every 4 hours he s highest temperature is up to 38.4C , it goes down slowly after taking medication, and goes back after couple of hours, he s gums are quite swollen, we think that his growing teeth has something to with his ongoing fever..is there any natural or herbal remedy i can give him to help fight the fever? thank you so much ..,Mrs.Nuevo

I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns according to the latest medical guidelines.

Yes, it seems to be due to teeth eruption and is very common. Almost every toddler gets this fever at this age and is due to the teeth eruption that causes pain in the teeth, gums and head.

Babies may also feel difficulty eating their 2nd foods and shift to bottle feeding more than the food. So don't worry, its all normal and temporary and your baby will revert back to normal routine once this gum swelling is over.

Take LukeWarm water and add some honey (fresh) and a very little black pepper. Give it to your baby for soothing effect. It also has the properties of reducing fever in the natural way as needed to your baby. But also keep giving Paracetamol every 4 hourly.
