Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.
You seem to suffer from either Androgenetic alopecia Or
Telogen effluvium. Dandruff is also responsible for increased hair shedding.
If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested you a good antidandruff shampoo, e.g 2%
ketoconazole lotion, would have been my choice.
Since your hair loss is just 4 months old, therefore it is important to know whether there is a stressful event like medical illness etc preceding the onset of hair loss ( telogen effluvium), which would have given me a clue whether it is related to the stressful event.
Androgenetic alopecia manifests as increased hair loss and hair thinning from the crown and vertex part of the scalp associated with receding hair line in males. Treatment is with topical minoxidil(2% in females and 5% in males) along with oral
antiandrogen (
finasteride). These are all prescription medications available on prescription of a
dermatologist. Therefore I would suggest that you see a nearby dermatologist and get a confirmatory diagnosis as well as a prescription.
