How To Reduce Itching All Over The Body?

My skin is really itchy, benadryl isn t working. I am showering with Selsun Blue, allowing it to stay on me, from head to toe for five minutes at a time, and literally using it as soap and shampoo. When I get out of the shower I am using Shea Butter everywhere. This is an everyday thing. I am noticing horseshoe looking things everywhere, and they re multiplying. What do I do?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

From your description, it looks as if you have some kind of skin allergy. It would be best if you consult a dermatologist so that he can see your skin condition in person. In the meanwhile, you may take a anti allergic like a cetirizine and apply some calamine lotion to your skin. You may need a course of oral/local steroids for which you have to consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
