Lower back ache in young adults is usually due to mechanical cause that is excessive strain due to strenuous work like lifting weights or even posture of its not maintained properly or trauma. I suggest you take rest for 2weeks meaning not doing any strenuous work, maintain proper posture while standing, sitting or doing any work. For the pain take pain killer one tablet diclofenac 50mg+paracetamol 325mg+ chloroxazone 250mg (combination drug) twice daily for 3-5 days. Also take antacids tablet ranitidine 150mg half hour before food morning & night. If the pain is not subsiding visit the orthopedic surgeon once.
