How To Reduce Pain And Pressure In Anal Area Post Hemorrhoidectomy?
I m in extreme pain always pressure in my anal area. Fever bleeding couldn t walk for 3 days. Went to hospital they put me on a drip with anti biotics but then got bullied into discharging myself because of a nurses frustration when my line wasn t in properly and she couldn t find a vein. Please I m in pain & need treatment. I m putting a complaint in about her. Eva since my hemmoriodectomy last year I haven t been the same. But I need to know wat will help me. I have kids to care for please help!!!

Hi,
Pain, fever and pressure indicates infection. Antibiotics is a must but the suitable antibiotic selection needs personal local examination and needful investigations followed by specific treatment. You should consult your anorectal surgeon and follow his instructions. Till then, a sitz bath may help Over the counter pain medicine like Ibuprofen taken after food (dose depends on severity and your health) would help.
