I have some problems with the down there area. I have been to a GP and they have prescribed me antibiotics. I have a swollen minora labia. It hurts when i walk and I apparently look like John Wayne . I have to go to school on monday and my mum is writing me a note to say that i cant do P.E. In the meantime what can i do that can reduce the pain and the swelling and get back to normal?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to boil or bartholinitis. You can do hot fomentation with a towel. This will help to reduce pain and swelling. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area. You can use warm water or saline for washing. As you are taking antibiotics nothing else will be needed.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
