How To Reduce Pain In Feet?

2 days ago i fell on my ankle i went to the hospital and had a x-ray the doctor said there is nothin he put me a bandage and gave 2 medicines . The problem is when i wake up i feel a horrible pain in my feet it stays for like 20 min then it goes . I want to know why i feel this pain and what should i do
