How To Reduce Pain In Hand?

I fell over almost 9 weeks ago now and my right hand still hurts. I cannot lift anything heavy and when push on it it still is painful. It is also still very painful when I rest my chin in the palm of my hand. Its more in the hand than the wrist. I haven't had it looked at as didn't want to waste anyones time, but 9 weeks is quite a long time for it to still be painful.
