hi
a bakers cyst if associated with knee swelling should be treated by needle aspiration of knee joint. An utrasound/MRI knee be done if there is cartilage damage in joint or osteoarthritis.torn cartilage is repaired or removed arthroscopically, if OA then infilteration of hydrocortisone into the joint after removing fluid from joint by aspiration
a compression bandage or support is also used with pain medicines for OA
In your case knee swelling may be tested withusg/MRI and procedure be done as per findings
