How To Reduce Pregnancy Chances After Intercourse?

hello doctor. i got physically intimated with my fiance before one week . may last period date was 9th august and i got intimated on 4th septermber. this is 10 th september but i yet not have periods. can you suggest me how can i reduce chances of pregnency? i also take i-pill after 60 hour.

Hi

I pill taken under 24 hours of unprotected sex then it is 95% potent. If it is taken under 25-48 hours of unprotected sex then it is said to be 85% effective.Since you have taken the drug within 72 hours,it is highly effective.Kindly confirm with a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests are accurate when done 10 days after missing the period or at least one to two weeks after you had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG. You can take a blood hcg test inorder to reduce your anxiety which is more accurate.
