Hi,
I carefully read your query. If you were my patient this would be my assessment and plan:

It looks like your legs are burned from staying too long in the sun without applying sunscreen cream The swelling on your knees and legs has happened from a long walk and/or sitting in a beach chair for a long time. Blood has pooled down in your legs and has caused that swelling. The pins and needles is happening due to the sunburn and leg swelling . Please do not worry and follow my advise:

1. Drink 1-2 glasses of water because you may be dehydrated.
2. Lift your legs up, on top of 2-3 pillows and rest in your couch/bed for at least an hour. This will improve your blood circulation, decreasing the swelling and numbness you are experiencing.

2. Apply ice packs or Aloe Vera cooling gel over your knees, legs and feet . Then i would suggest you apply after-sun lotion 2-3xday. Look for blisters in your skin. if they develop that might be a sign of a 2nd degree sunburn. Contact me or your doctor if that develops.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Feel better soon,
