Hello,

Since you have not mentioned anything regarding the latest uric acid levels in your blood here, you are suggested to continue taking the medications prescribed to you by your treating doctor. To reduce uric acid levels you should take low purine diet.

Do not take red meat, shrimps, lobsters, beer, whisky, soda, cereal, ice cream, etc. You can take fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, grains, potato, rice pasta, chicken, lean meat, small fish, etc. Take plenty of water to flush wastes out of your body & do regular exercises. Take adequate sleep.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
