How To Reduce Weight While On Primolut?

HI,I want to know if there is a way to loose weight during the therapy on Primolut Nor? I have to take it for 3 months, but after first month I gained 4 lb. Can I stop weight gain somehow? I m exercising and I will restrict my caloric intake. Will it work or it s possible to fail in weight loss because of medicine?Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Primolut-N is a progesterone containing contraceptive has a side effect for weight gain. You can manage the gain by restricting carbohydrates in diet, have sufficient proteins and complete your intake with ample of salads, vegetables and restricted fruits that are not sweet. Eat fruits with skins (when possible, no juices please). Regular 40 minutes exercises in a day and active lifestyle. No need of medicines for weight loss. Weight would come back to normal after stopping the pills but only with healthy life style.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
