Hi,

Recovery from stroke can be prolonged. To increase the strength of the muscles in her hand, she would need physiotherapy of the hand.

The exercises can initially be done in the physiotherapist office but she can then complete some of them at home. With consistent work, she may be able to use the hand properly again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
