Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Usually while nearing forty there is possibility of some irregularity in menstrual cycles because of hormonal imbalance. As your Urine Pregnancy Test is negative better to consult your gynecologist once get examined and and undergo investigations like hemoglobin level, blood sugar level, ultrasound and thyroid profile. With this general workup the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly. if fibroid is a smaller in size and not causing any symptoms like dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia etc no need to worry you can follow with regular check ups.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
