How To Regulate Periods?

i m 24 and married , i m facing irregular period problem from last 2 years... mostly my period diff date is 40 day...
now i m planing for child so it will effect on child posses... me & my husband is in tense so pl tell me how i ll get the regular period..

Hi,

Yes, a regular ovulating period is essential for conception If you are planning for a baby, you need to confirm ovulation. Please consult a gynecologist. Your ovulation study would be carried out. Some conditions like menstrual irregularity, PCOD need to be excluded / found, followed by needful treatment. This would help with conception. If your ovulation is positive, you won't need treatment. You should conceive in 1 year with regular sex around ovulation day. Investigations would be needed only if there is no positive result.
