How To Relieve Swollen Right Tonsil And Trouble Swallowing?
I have a really swollen right tonsil and it hurts to swallow. I can't go to the doctors at the moment and It seems im unable to swallow any painkillers, what should I do?
I am 17, about 220 lbs, and I've only had strep throat and tonsillitis once before, and it was bacterial. I'm unable to get those same prescription meds though as my health care benefits have changed. Gargling salt water hasn't helped much either.
dear you may be suffering from acute tonsillitis with pharyngitis. use salt water for gargling, avoid cool drinks and freeze water. avoid smoking and allergen. use tab . amoxillineclavulinate 625mg twice a day for five days. if symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
take care
