How To Remove A Painful Puss Bump On Back Of Head?

Hello, I have an extremely painful puss bump on the back lower part of my head, and it won t go away even after I have release some blood/puss from it over two weeks ago. It is extremely noticeable, irritating and very easy to see. How can I give rid of this pain and remove the bump? Thanks

The most probable diagnosis is a carbuncle which is a bacterial infection .A course of oral antibiotic like cefadroxyl along with topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin will help.If it does not subside with antibiotics surgical opinoin needs to be taken for insicion and drainage.
