How To Remove A Small Piece Of Plastic Stuck In Throat?
I have a small piece of plastic stuck in my throat since last night. It has moved twice already when I cough. Now it feels like it could be on the left side of my throat because my nose is stopped up on that side but i don't know if the plastic is in the way or if I have allergies. Please help!
Understanding your concern. As per your query small piece of plastic stuck in throat which is giving causing irritation and cough there mainly because that plastic is acting as foreign body there and causes accumulation of bacteria and debris. It could cause granular pharyngitis as well. More so piece of plastic is sharp so chances of abrasion and getting into food pipe are very high. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist immediately. Go for fibro-optic scan and endoscopy by an ENT Surgeon to make sure the cause of your symptoms and to remove the foreign body. This is a minor procedure. Do warm saline gargles. Maintain proper oral hygiene. If it is abrasions only it will resolve in 24 hrs.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
