Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m a teenager whose t zone is normal to get oily, i have a bump on my glabella (further up of nose between eyebrows). I noticed it yesterday and people won t notice it unless you touch it. i tried squeezing it and nothing came out. I tried touching it with a pair of small scissors (beauty kind) and prodded a bit and only little blood came out. I searched and found someone had this before and goes away after a few days. Should I wait it out for a few more days before going to a doctor?
Pimples on the face and especially in the area between the eyes are common and nothing to worry. There is no need to see the doctor at the moment. It is also advisable to not poke it. As you explain it is small and not noticeable so it is best to just leave it and it will heal in a few days. If you squeeze a pimple there is risk for infection to go in and cause even more pimples or a local infection. Just make sure you keep a good hygiene of the skin and if pimples are getting more in number than there is creams that can be taken for acne and treat it.
I hope this is helpful and answers to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
