How To Remove Excess Facial Hair?

My daughter is 8 months old and has a lot of hair on forehead and jawline. Can you please tell me if there is any way it can be removed. I waited for it to go away on its own but nothing happened. Also please let me know what could be the cause during pregnancy and is it true that babies have more hair on forehead due to low calcium levels in mother during pregnancy.thank you !!

Hi. Your baby is just 8 months old. Excessive hair is common in children and it usually goes away as they grow. They could be a cause of concern if they are associated with certain features like differently looking genitalia, red urine, fever or any systemic features etc. You may consult a dermatologist for evaluation. However, if its just increased hair without any
peculiar or striking feature (some of them has been mentioned earlier), you may relax. Hope it answers your queries.
