Hello Sir, I am yogendra Kumar sahu from Raipur Chhattisgarh. I am looking for a good doctor who can treat my father. He is suffering from lungs problem since last year. he has liquid inside there lungs. It s a kind of TB, some blood comes with bulgum during cough. He has sugar and bp problem too and he has pain in his legs also.
Hello, Welcome to hcm, Mostly Your father is having pleural effusion secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis, diabetes will lower the immunity and will further aggrevate the disease. If your father is put upon anti tubercular drugs ask him to continue it without missing a dose. . If your father is having difficulty in breathing then fluid can be aspirated, nebulization will help.effusion will subside with anti tubercular drugs only as it is secondary to tuberculosis.regarding pain in the legs it could be due to various reasons including weakness. If he is bedridden for longer time then dvt has to be ruled out.
Thank you
