Dear Doctor,
Can you please tell the facts about a eye problem I am having. Had some foreign irritant fly into my eye namely sand grit, and tried to was it out in various ways including head immersion under water and blinking. No luck at all small irritating sensation still felt deep far back under upper eyelid fold. Question I like to ask, is it possible to force foreign debris matter deep far back under upper eyelid if I attempted to clean with a narrow cotton tipped wire probe? How do I resolve this matter? It seems to persist on for couple weeks now. A professional upper eyelid sweep done by an optometrist, by inverting eyelid back and swiping underlining tissue? Would I need to see an ophthalmologist, can they clean it better in anyway? Really need some answers here, as it is frustrating, annoying and irritating to say the least.
