How To Remove Foreign Object In The Eye?

My wife has gotten somthing she claims is 'Small and pointy' inside of her right eyelid. We have tried tilting back her head and flushing her eye with water, but it simply moved the object deeper, then we tried eye drops, no effect, so then we tried wet cotton swabs to try and nudge it out by swabbing the insides of her eyelids, in that all she managed to do is move the object about... I mentioned maybe submerging her head in water and blinking, but she claims opening her eyes in the water is not possible for her... She's talking about going to the hospital to try and have a doctor remove it, is there another way???? Help me

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your wife is having foreign body in the eye.
This needs to be removed by a eye doctor. The methods you are trying at home will not remove it out if present and may be dangerous also. Hence I advice you not to try these methods but to consult your eye doctor for removal of the foreign body at the earliest as delay may cause eye infection.
