Hello,

I think doctor has given microgynon pill to stabilize your hormones. Usually, implanon is recommended to remove at the end of its time (3 years) after insertion.

As the implanon has been inserted recently, bruising like at the site of insertion is a common effect but it will get better by time. This explains why your doctor did not take it off.

Please follow your doctors advice. Take the pill after or with food if it makes you sick. Do not forget to take with glass of water. Keep following up regularly with your caring doctor.

All the best.
