How To Remove Piece Of My Tongue That Is Hanging Off?

Hi I have a piece of my tongue hanging off I don t know what it s from but it is unnoticeable unless I go up to the mirror and look at it, I tried getting it off but it doesn t work and it started to bleed so I stopped touching it, do you know what this is from?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The excess tissue hanging from your tongue could be a irritational fibroma or a inflammatory hyperplasia secondary to trauma. Nothing to be panic, consult a good oral and maxillofacial surgeon and get it surgically removed. Do not attempt yourself to do anything because tongue is highly vascularized tissue, it may bleed profusely even on slight provocation. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
